You're allowed to stop playing a video game after beating it once lol
You don't have to beat it 15 times unless you're a speed runner or something
Why the fuck would you play up to NG+15?
Maybe replay a few different builds, get up NG+6 or 7, whatever it caps out or do some challenge runs. Those I can see. Why NG+15? Of course you're going to find it monotonous.
I still have fun with Halo 1 after two decades but after my short time with Dark Souls I wouldn't expect it to be the same.
NG+ 15, I know all the fights I know where to go I know how to kill each boss I know all their exploits I know everything through and through and it’s making me exhausted. I found myself playing the 3rd game when I was a depressed college student and the themes of isolation really impacted me in a way no other medium had ever done. Now I load the game it’s just the same game that I’ve always known r1 r1 circle circle thumb stick forward r1 roll back circle save stamina circle forward thumb stick r1 l2 r2 repeat repeat repeat
I played DS2 with a faith build, throwing lighting around is very fun
Try Sekiro, Metal Gear Rising, DMC 5 and 4, Beyonetta, Wonderful 101, Transformers devastation or Vanquish.
This g*amer has a serous competive streak and some skills at getting good. They shoudl try the upcoming guilty gear strive.
There has never been a better time to get into fighting games. Use your hard won mechanical skills to make friends in the fgc. Eventually tournaments and possibly money.
Do a duel-wielding spear build in Scholar of First Sin, I haven't had so much fun playing Dark Souls in years
