Rare that we see good news but we are starting to look like we have a few viable paths for treating sporadic and genetic prion disease. Both candidates look extremely promising from mouse trials and there are some other tools being developed for single dose treatment of genetic prion disease.

I don’t care if it’s an evil pharmaceutical company, I want these things killed and Ionis has been throwing money to do base research here to kill them.
