Hey everyone,

If you're like me, you may have problems reading books in hand...or not having the funds to support the great habit of reading.

So I decided about a week ago to pirate some of the books I've wanted to read but realistically probably wouldn't. I set up a private podcast rss feed to host these books.

There were a few problems I encountered. One was some of the books weren't available. Two was some of the books came in large audio files or broken apart in chapters. As a result, when a book was spread across multiple files I created a "season" for that particular book.

As for the missing pieces, or books you'd like to be included, that is where the Hexbear community can help. I'd love feedback and I can do my best to find the audio files to add to the library. I'm hoping this could potentially help the book club read-along series if need be too.

Please message me if you're interested in the rss feed, I don't want to post it for fear of it tripping some invisible wire that shuts the feed down. But I do want you to share, far and wide, with friends and fellow leftists.

(also note, to suggest/recommended books, use this thread. doing it in PMs it's more likely to be lost)

Thanks, and I look forward to some recommendations.

Edit : just realized how dumb it was to ask for suggestions but you only can see the library if you pm me, so fuck it, here's the feed

You should check out MAM for audiobooks you don't have, it's a great public private tracker

I mistyped earlier, I meant to say it's a private tracker, albeit one that's fairly easy to get into (iirc they have interviews on Saturdays UTC, which mostly just involves a quiz to make sure you've read the rules)

If it helps, I think they've got a web based irc client for that now, I definitely didn't have any problems getting it set up a couple years ago it was pretty straightforward
