Last generation they fucked up by making a game console focused on streaming tv and movies. With no good exclusives.
Ok, you fucked up, but why the fuck didn’t you learn anything. It’s dead simple, console gaming is about software. This is why Nintendo can launch a console built on a 5 year old mobile chip and it sells like hotcakes.

I only game on PS so Halo is basically a black hole for me but what is going on with the Dev cycle for Infinite? Haven't 343 been working on that game for like 6 years or something?
It's been 5 years since the release of the controversial Halo 5. In those 5 years they made a new engine, and scrapped what they had for Halo 6 in 2018. Their creative director left 343 in 2019 likely due to Halo 6 getting scrapped and in 2020 there is the whole coronavirus thing.
Safe to say that things are a bit tough over at 343.
damn. If they really scrapped everything in 2018 and still want to hit an early 2021 then this game will come under baked. Say what you will but I think Sony handles their First Party studios much better than Microsoft. If things were switched we probably would have never seen "The Last Guardian".
