Native Americans may pick a sacred number when asked to rate pain on a numerical pain scale

And then people wonder why medical professionals have a tendency to ignore the pains of women and minorities and said groups have worse health outcomes.

I thought it was just like implicit biases. But nope, apparently it's literally textbook.

      • Never exaggerates how much pain they're in.

      • Often experience far greater pain than other cultures and races.

      • Treating other patients can often cause them more pain so they must be prioritized.

      • Pain is frequently caused by secret microwave beams.

      Crackers:

      • Believes they can only heal by inflicting an equal or greater pain on others.
      • Will viciously attack if direct eye contact is made.
      • Has traditional honky remedy of curing cancer with an all fruit diet.
      • Keep a coworker nearby to play the role of “manager” when the white demands to speak with one.
      • Compulsively attempts to “monetize” their suffering by any and all means possible.

This is one of the most enraging things you can ever do lol.

Simply treating them as just another racial category makes ~30% of them go off the wall beserk. Like I'll often just use the words "white girl/guy" when it's totally unnecessary (the same way most people use it for POC when also unnecessary) and it makes so many people mad

I did a medical program in high school and was given a lesson similar to this and the nurse teaching us said Asian people usually won't make eye contact and used me as an example when I'm fucking autistic (in her defense she didn't know that but why signal me out)

Normaloids think that everyone loves to be singled out in front of the class because spotlight on you = good and enjoyable unconditionally

I think most people really hated being singled out in class. The ones that did were Martin Prince or attention starved clowns

          "does anyone know the answer?"

thirty kids suddenly staring at posters on the walls, out the window, anything to avoid making eye contact with the teacher

Pain is considered a test of faith

I was literally taught this growing up in a white-ass evangelical church. If someone had a terminal illness, it was because god was testing their faith. More projection, what's new?

This is still actively taught in nursing. My wife teaches nursing clinical. Yes nursing administration is all white evangelical boomers, why do you ask

I wouldn't be surprised if nursing was the original prototype for implementing PMCs, now that you mention it.

Note how white people doesn't have a cultural response to pain. A nice example of how whiteness is the absence of race.

The Caucasian patient may baselessly claim that the pain they experience was caused by the Hispanic patient, and in severe cases, may begin speaking seemingly at random about unrelated matters such as crime statistics.

May not request pain medicine but instead thank Allah for pain

Muslims must seek pain relief when necessary because needless pain and suffering are frowned upon

It's almost like different people are different and busting out the calipers to decide which approach to pain each individual would like to take (instead of, for example, asking them) makes no sense. How can someone read these two clearly contradictory sentences almost back to back and have any faith that what they're reading makes any sense?
