On Wednesday twitch changed their site rules to allow artistic nudity. The policy allowed streams to display nonsexual nudity as long as the stream is tagged, so that the stream would be hidden from the front page. Twitch rescinded the policy 2 days later.

female presenting breasts lol topless men aOKAY then? pre op trans guys with hairy tits alright? non passing trans women?

this community concern just stinks to me that some capital G gamers are upset they can't keep women out of gaming, it's about ethics in video game streaming or something

i'll never understand live entertainment outside of people's obsession with the thrill of seeing a mistake anyway, ala Janet Jackson, give me carefully curated scripted content, or give me death

Though the distinction between girl boobs and boy boobs is silly, that's a cultural thing not a twitch thing. Have you been on twitch much? It was filled with low-key porn streams of nude streamers & artists drawing smut and high-key porn streams of women twerking.

(And I know the distinction between porn/not porn is blurry but if you saw them you'd get it)

I don't think gamers are the community with the concerns, if anything, they're mad that twitch is kicking out their cam girls.

i've spent far more time lurking in manosphere adjacent spaces than I have on twitch, and that definitely colours a lot of the views I have about online interactions lol

        I hope you're right

The new policy hasn't really done anything yet. Go to twitch right now and choose to watch an art stream. I guarantee you'll see a whole bunch of twerking - I saw 4 streams without needing to scroll down. (also several artists drawing skimpy women with massive dobonhonkeros)
