the gaming industry has already established a form of reverse UBI. The vast majority of new games universally require g*mers to make microtransactions for things like "progress" and "not getting your village annihilated tonight". Indeed, grimes seems to think she can walk down the usual grift road and I guess people will pretend like it's a utopian idea.
