This has been quite a brewing internal DSA debate as it was partly the Las Vegas DSA chapter in the state that did this. IMO it's basically meaningless, the shadow party is in full force and will with decent chances win the primaries because the DSA chapters don't have enough members to field their own candidates and do the needed canvassing.
Seems to me like the NV Dems are doing to the DSA leadership what the Labour party did to the Corbyn people, which fucking sucks but I can't exactly blame the DSA for trying to take control of a political mechanism. Hopefully this radicalizes a ton of people in Nevada as they realize that the Dems aren't ever going to let progressive forces in.

Party leadership proposed changing the party's bylaws to revoke the charter from any group that collects funds in the name of the state party without its authorization. Though Whitmer denies that it was drafted to kneecap the Washoe County Democrats and Nevada Democratic Victory
Why deny it at that point? They're clearly subverting you and for once you've got the party brand to beat them over the head with.
