Penne- The Best Pasta. The kind your mom might've made mac and cheese out of when they were out of macaroni. Easy to grab with a fork, can hold sauce and and melted cheeses well. 11/10.
Cavatappi- It's like macaroni except longer and with a better texture. Easy to pick up with a fork and they look cool. 10/10.
Fusilli- Like penne pasta but worse at holding sauces, easy to fork and good texture. 9/10.
Macaroni- A classic pasta. Easily fork-able. The kind your mom might've made mac and cheese out of if they had macaroni. 9/10.
Farfalle- The most dapper looking pasta. Easily fork-able. It is outclassed by penne and fusilli in my opinion. 8/10.
Tagliatelle- Like spaghetti but wider. Moderately fork-able. Goes well with mushrooms. 7/10.
Spaghetti- The classic long pasta. Hypothetically fork-able, so long as nobody is around to judge you for being bad at picking up long pasta. Its ok I guess. 6/10.
Gnocchi- This is actually a dumpling I think, not a pasta. It was on the tier maker so I'm talking about it anyways. Extremely soft, works well as food for infants. Easily fork-able. 7/10.
Conchiglie- This pasta is capable of holding the most sauce out of any pasta on this list. However, in order for the sauces to stick to the actual shell, they usually have to be very thick. These pastas are also usually really big, so when you try and grab them the sauce falls out anyways. Very unsatisfying experience. 5/10.
Linguine- Spaghetti but round. Has all the same downsides as spaghetti, but tastes worse. 4/10.
Genelli- Resembles two fusilli pastas stitched together by a mad scientist. Easily fork-able, but usually too large to eat many at once. 5/10.
Rigatoni- This pasta is penne but worse. It is worse at holding sauce than penne and it is usually bigger which makes it harder to grab mushrooms and other things in the same bite. Easily fork-able, but just use penne. 5/10. -Angel Hair/Capellini- Spaghetti but really thin. A significant downgrade from spaghetti and just as annoying to eat. 3/10.
Bucatini- Spaghetti but round and also with a hole in it. The hole doesn't really help it collect sauce, but it does make it taste worse. 3/10.
Tortellini- A pasta that is small and stuffed with cheese and or meat. Every time i've had it the stuffing has tasted bad. Easily fork-able. 1/10.
Ravioli- A pasta that is big and stuffed with cheese and or meat. Not only does the stuffing taste bad, but these ones are so big that you cant even eat them in one bite half the time, and actually have to cut into the stuffing! 0/10.
Lasange- Thick pasta designed to be cooked in layers. Really messy most of the time, half the time when microwaved its cold in the middle, and better layered pasta can be made by just using layers of cheese. Cannot be eaten without using a knife. 1/10.
fusilli is the best because it never sticks to the pot or to each other, so you don't have to stir it. Just pour it into water and come back and it's done perfectly
