Hey there, I am looking at interest for a play by post playtest campaign using the TTRPG system I have developed. We would be playing through the campaign I am writing to release with the base rulebook in 2022.

The fluff-synopsis of the game is:

In the near future looming climate catastrophe results in the world's scientists & leaders coming together to come up with a solution. The solution they choose is to develop a massive & powerful spaceship to move those chosen by the leaders to colonize a new world. The technology they developed to achieve this is called a Conscious Drive, an A.I powered quantum computer that can manipulate reality itself in a specific environment dictated by a crystal array. Four drives are installed into this colony ship named the Bastion.

The day of the voyage a group of political activists take over the ship along with a skeleton crew of pilots and engineers. However just as they engage Bastion to take off a horrible accident occurs and the entirety of the people on Bastion find themselves instantly on a new & alien world with the wreckage of the ship around them. Despite everyone surviving the Conscious Drives have scattered to the ends of this new world. As the survivors go their own ways and start new civilizations they come to learn that the Conscious Drives are able to impart magical abilities of elemental manipulation onto chosen people.

Over 1000 years after this crash there are 9 new civilizations on this world named the Realm of Bastions, with the capital being the massive Bastion City. With Technology being widespread in the Realm a conflict between old and new arises yet again. A variety of Technology including Automatons which are 7-8' tall mechanic exoskeletons that allow those untrained in magic to manipulate the elemental forces is a crucial force in deciding the winners of this conflict.

The crunch-synopsis:

Realm of Bastion is designed as a 1d6 based table top roleplaying game and tool for telling a story as a group. The character generation is not based on classes instead players can mix and match Magic, Technology, Ancient Ways, Automatons, and Skills to create a character. By focusing on the background life events of the character rather than a Race each player can develop a novel background for their character. The player chooses a Faction & Setting for 3 phases of their character's life which impact their attributes and materials they begin adventuring with.

A party of characters then experiences a chain of Encounters that are created with a large list of Settings & Factions. After experiencing 6 Encounters the Characters "Level Up" and when the Characters meet a special parameter of an Encounter find Treasure. During an Encounter the Player Characters and the Non-Player Characters each have a set of Turns and when everyone has taken a Turn the Round ends. During a Player's Turn they may use 1 Long Action 2 Quick Actions, 4 Brief Actions, or 1 Quick Action + 2 Brief Actions. In addition some abilities provide access to "Free Actions" which each Character may use a maximum of 2 in each Turn.

Please ask questions or if you are interested let me know here or via DM.

My plan is to make a post here or if the mods want me to do something else I can.

In the post I would be the GM and make a parent comment for each Encounter with the rounds broken up into child comments. Open to discussion on any time requirement on reply.

I have run Pathfinder, Pathfinder 2e, and Shadowrun 5e play by post campaigns before, in addition I will provide a current version .pdf copy of the core ruleset to each player when we start. If you would like to read the core rulebook please send me a DM and I would be happy to provide a link.

I plan on releasing the core ruleset as pay what you want on itch.io.

Thanks for reading.

I'd be interested. The setting sounds pretty cool and the Shadowrun campaign was good fun after all.
