Was driving in car flipping back and forth between WFMU and WBAI . Decided to peek at local NPR for a moment and was immediately made crystal clear of the reason why most of the country lives in conditioned fear, immobilized by propaganda and unable to think for themselves.

The juxtaposition of the two “left “ stations said it all.

Neoliberal WNYC (NPR) was carrying this typical NYPD fascist flex live. I almost puked. Not surprising but still angering that Brian Lehrer, a wannabe MSNBC water carrier for the elite , chose to air this crap.

Meanwhile on WBAI they were also carrying something live. But it was the polar opposite. It was a small but feisty anti-imperialist rally. The speakers were connecting the dots between going to war for the benefit of corporate America profiteers and how it directly correlates to how still live with alarming economic precarity. That living conditions in the city remain outrageously high, the county couldn’t even get its citizens free healthcare during a pandemic and how rapacious monopolies were controlling everything we interact with.

Propaganda is the single biggest impediment to a full scale awakening happening.

Someone in that original thread said this

Also, according to my reading, this guy was big on having a heart and talking to kids.

And it makes me think of how racist fucktards will make fun of how a young black man who was murdered will have family saying how he was a good student and had dreams. The idea being that getting caught up in the street life must mean these kids don't do well in school. It's the inverse with cops, but something that seems to get trotted out routinely

It'd be a real shame for somebody to throw something into that pig pile. On an unrelated note, anybody want to have a pork bbq?

my dentist recently let me know that that is a scam, the burning sensation is unrelated to the effectiveness, which is basically non-existent because they skimp on the active ingredients

I’m supposed to believe cops are under attack and hated in this country yet they practically get a state funeral whenever they die.
