          as someone who lives in the US, I would gladly live in the UK or Japan if suddenly those countries came to my doorstep

      i went on a walking tour in budapest a number of years ago, pretty standard european city walking tour except the guide spent half the time going on about how the filthy foreigners had stolen all these parts of greater hungary and it was their historic mission to get them back

      so yeah still real mad

        A ton of the socialist revolts and general unrest towards the end of WW1 and in its aftermath seem to get pretty much cut out of popular history. It's just Russia that has a revolution, the rest of the world is just perfectly fine and stable.
