    His studio's roots, Topcraft, were behind the Rankin-Bass Hobbit and Return of the King animated films, as well as The Last Unicorn. They're great. Watch them if you haven't yet.

      I really like The Last Unicorn. More into the Bakshi LOTR film, but that one's good too. People kinda' overemphasize the Topcraft connection with Ghibli since most of the people working at Topcraft didn't go on to work with Ghibli outside Miyazaki et al.
