        Your friend is on team Hope. I've been in climate alarmist mode for more than a decade and if there is one thing I learned, it's that people will hate you for telling them it's fucked and possibly introducing them to an unshakable darkness and hopelessness... I also decided telling other powerless people we are all going to die is kind of pointless at this point and I might as well just find people to do drugs with instead.
