I simply root for the team with the better average gambling odds at any given moment
it's not like a family blood line
It very much is.
Catholics aren't gonna start supporting the Protestant team founded by a Tory landlord just because it's winning: that's football compradorism.
You'll shut up when Everton beat Newcastle today.
Even disregarding that, I started supporting team when I was 14 (I don't live anywhere near Engl*nd) and at some point I was "locked in" so to speak. I have gotten jaded with spectacle pro sports because of the Marxist curse and I still cannot help but feel slightly sad or happy when they lose or win. I watch very few games now but still follow them dispassionately.
You're the fella on the Everton feed looking for a wind up.
British english is a great dialect.
I think every single English speaking person should make a conscious effort to incorporate this specific dialect in their everyday verbiage.
i don't follow footbol but now that baseball season has started i am already wishing i was smart enough to support a team that is good at baseball
On reconsideration, I've come around to this guy: Everton a fucking shambles now, giving the ball away like they don't want it
Their first time going 13 games in the top flight without a win since 1957 (barring something dramatic: I'm writing this at 84min)
