this isnt quite where i want it to be yet, but i like it as a starting point. i think i like the idea of an ep thats just droney shimmering big muff riffs and tone nobs being twisted around
I'm into it. I think the intro section is great, and the body of it is solid, though it feels like it's missing... something. I'm not great at music myself, but it feels like it needs either some kind of low bass or drum hits, or some kind of higher 'melody', like a wailing strings-type sound.
definitely agree. this isnt a song, really, i just kind of needed a test track to start exploring the rhythm guitar textures i was hearing in my head. i think all your suggestions are good. i eventually imagine some shimmery, almost glitchy things over the sludgy guitar, and maybe some deeply enveloped crashing drums. id also love to do a physical cassette release of these when theyre all done
