open source devs when they see cyrillic letters in IRC: :monke-rage:
open source devs when their software is used by defense contractors: :penguin-love:
Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Palestine, Yugoslavia, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba…
its apparently a common copy paste thing thats all over github. this was for a calculator app that could do basic graphic calculator shit lol
:soypoint-1: change your entire ideology so you can plot a line on a graph on your phone, the user agreement demands it :soypoint-2:
Crimea
Lmao. Separatism bad when our enemies do it
So I take it they'll admit that Taiwan is China now?
If this shit gets a pass I'll just put "If you use this code you are a communist forever no takebacks" in my repos.
If you wanna fuck with libs, point out that the black sun was invented from scratch by a nazi to decorate his real-life Castle Wolfenstein
Pure untainted slavs who are also obsessed with their nordic pagan heritage.
This shit reminds me why I loathe the way terms and conditions are used. "If you do this x thing, you agree to these 50 other things you haven't read and actually haven't agreed to but it counts legally."
That being said, this is so unhinged it's almost a completely separate issue. What's next? I can't use a DeviantArt image by foxfelcher79 as a profile image without swearing I'll pledge 5% of my monthly income to Zelensky.
I ran into this recently when looking at https://registry.terraform.io/modules/terraform-aws-modules/eks/aws/latest for work. I don't know what it is but there are just some parts of software development where this is common, and frankly it's not the parts where the work is difficult and the skills are known by a select few.
