        Still can't believe the French used a naval military vessel to sink a Greenpeace ship.

        The international whaling ban wasn't until like 1985. Up until then boat's all Over the world were blasting whales with exploding harpoons day in and out.

        In fact Norway and Japan still whale. There is a video you can find of a Norwegian ship from a few years ago pulling a blue whale onto the deck and the size is just staggering.
