A reminder to everyone in this thread that you can block YouTube ads
Unfortunately, if you're still using Vanced on your phone like I am, these sorts of ads have been leaking through and littering your search results for a good while now.
No notifications, background play is really spotty... I'm moving over to it as soon as Vanced completely breaks but it just isn't as good :sadness:
These adverts about single women (not even Ukrainian) keep popping up on my YouTube feed.
I have not watched a single video about this, have displayed no interest in dating apps or dating in general online (offline is a different story), hell I don't even watch porn! But because the algorithm has figured out I'm a single man it shoves these adverts in my face.
I get these ads and I'm in a long term committed relationship. I have all ad personalization turned off though so it may just be the newest round of ads being blasted out there
So you can't even trick the algorithm that way? They advertise this to people in a relationship too? That's a bit scummy, seems like a corporate way to encourage cheating and whatnot.
I'm not sure when this happened cos I never consciously noticed it at the time, but I swear there was a crossover point when ads like these stopped being exclusive to explicitly adult sites?

I'M not the issue regarding my being happy. I have all of Star Trek and classic Simpsons box sets. I've got happiness handled. It's other dudes who make me do things that aren't star trek or Simpsons related that are fucking this up for me.
