He's pissed here. It's nice to see him as animated and pissed off as his text often is, I've only heard Malm speak in interviews before where he's very convivial.

In this speech he outlines the broad strokes of what would become White Skin, Black Fuel: On the Dangers of Fossil Fascism (2021) that he eventually put out collaboratively with "The Zetkin Collective". In that text he includes material that I can only assume was originally intended for the sequel to Fossil Capital, which was to be called Fossil Empire. He includes almost all that section of the text in this lecture too.

    Oh I forgot he rattled off this gem almost as an afterthought: It's the privilege of bourgeois visionaries to see their visions come true only by swimming with the tide of history
