    A lot of my lib friends are 100% convinced the US Dollar will be worthless by 2024 if this happens.

    Had to explain why that probably won't be the case, at least not nearly that quickly.

    Got called a nationalist, told I'm too blinded by patriotism to see how precarious America's power is.

    .... it's been a very strange week for me.

      There's probably some very coordinated narrative being pushed in the major news outlets and you just don't know about it.

        Neither. They're the kind of libs who go "yes America hurts the third world and that's bad but stopping it would be worse because treats will get more expensive."

        Those same people are saying I'm too "optimistic" about the dollar's stability.

    Arguably that's a case of first Saudi, then Brazil and then ASEAN. Though ofc Brazil got ahead and started doing the homework early.
