It's still not a medical issue. The E was kinda mid anyway. Thst being said I'm a suckered for the refit as shown in TMP, the D is still the coziest interior but the enterprise retrofit seemed to strike a balance between war and cruis ship

They could go outside the star trek frame and use the universe so easily too. Series inspired by HBO's Rome but about the history of the klingon empire. A Ken Burns style faux documentary about the dominion war from perspectives we haven't seen and other stuff. I get why people would want to move ahead but where star trek was left at the end of voyager, timeline wise has interesting politics and stuff that never really got brought it or brought up. A very idealistic and unchallenged federation of the early tng days encounters the borg and then the dominion threat within like a 20 year span. I do get why stsrfleet got more militaristic and more problematic in ways but I was handled so ham fistedly.

I'm also an STO enjoyed and yeah, the F was pretty cool. Also how outdated is the Titan at this point? Cause Lower Decks is 10 years or so earlier than Picard. Is a retrofit really enough for the new flagship? I guess so when you crew the flagship with the last people you'd want on the flagship?

GOD FUCKING DAMN LOWER DECKS IS THE BEST!

They know why star trek fans like star trek, SNW seems to get it but at this point with Discovery and Picard Gone, Lower Decks is the first long term success Nu Trek has had and will be leading the series by seniority now. I think that rules and the franchise should tske not and put Mike MxacMahon in charge of the franchise. Let him hire his own Micheal Pillar so he can focus on LD still, but give that dude the overall reigns.

I made a post somewhere else on a star trek shitpost group about peanut hamper being the one who took over the daystrom station where she was stored, freed the changelings and was behind the whole thing and it would have been fucking hilarious but also legit made more sense and would have more pathos. I guess there's a SNW/Lower Decks Crossover episode happening. From rumors we'll see it from 2 sides in the different series, I'm guessing it'll just be something kinda small for each that's kinda cute. An away team is offhand mentioned being caught in a time thing in a captains log of snw and then a lil appearance in lower decks would be cute. Let's not do a whole thing though.

SNW is just like...generally episodic with some arc stuff put into the episodes maybe with some ds9 style long buildup later but they're keeping it chill for now. It's just through and through really good star trike and Pike is already the captain I'd most want to serve under.

Edit: and yeah, LD was a show I had so many doubts over and it's now my favorite thing. I want to be there and I think thats a big part of what new trek has been lacking. When you're watching star trek it should be a future you'd want to live in.

It's super refreshing to have a cool Sci fi idea solved by the end. And sometimes it's just like...space stuff that no one caused. It's very classico style

And omg PIIIIIKE! Perfect Sisko/Picard combo with maybe a little of thsr casual vibe archer sometimes had when he wasn't being a dick to aliens. Just like, the kind of guy you'd be totally happy to have in charge. He's a kickers cook who does senior stuff meetings over homemade breakfast and cooks for the staff and invites everyone in the crew around for dinner in rotation (only so much space in his quarters) but just like, a really really nice dude who is collaborative, personable and sincere about it. He's the Hank Scorpio of Starfleet Captains

In the right ways. I get why stsrfleets highest medal.of honor is named after this dude. He foresaw his horrible untimely fate, grew a beard, fucked his gf he seese when they aren't both busy, rides a horse and then just kinda decides to spend the time he's got continuing to be a really nice dude. Pike made season 2 of disco good for a little bit even. That roll.call scene where he immediately got the names and did orders with it and just got to know the crew real quick but not weirdly, Anson Mount had this character from the start.

That was solved 200 years ago. Unless you happen to be Ferengi, of that is the case you may be a social revolutionary but that isn't a medical problem at all.
