I've mostly given up on political reddit.

I use reddit for soccer content now. Primarily /r/MLS.

It's a lot better than it was in 2012.

A quick rundown of current storylines:

        • They started the season, but had to cancel during week three because of covid

        • They were the first American men's league back at it in Orlando in a bubble that the NBA based their bubble off of, Portland won

        • They had a one-day strike in solidarity with the NBA and other leagues for Black lives

        • One of the owners is being forced out because he felt "personally disrespected" by the player protests

        • Blaise Matuidi just joined the team David Beckham owns in Miami, they have not been good so far

        • Columbus has been the best this year, but they have also played Cincinnati a bunch, which may make them look better than they are

        • The Revs are still bad, probably, but sometimes they are also good. Who knows, their best player is out for likely the remainder of the season after having foot surgery

Same. Except it's Magic: the Gathering instead of soccer.
