Speaking on a panel at the European Council on Foreign Relations’ (ECFR) meeting in Spain’s capital Madrid this week, Saudi foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, stressed that Israeli forces are violating the “basic principles” of international humanitarian law every day in Gaza and highlighted how Western nations could easily impose measures to prevent such crimes form further taking place.

“It would be very easy for Europe, in desire, to focus on humanitarian issues, to, at the very least, hold Israel accountable when it comes to whether or not it lives up to its responsibilities to allowing the civilian population of Gaza to have access to humanitarian needs”, said bin Farhan.

“The majority of the international community agrees that the permanent and just solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the two-state solution, yet they stand idle in the face of matters that could undermine the two-state solution, such as Israel’s continued expansion of settlement activities.”

The foreign minister’s comments represent the kingdom’s sternest condemnation of Israel’s bloody offensive on the besieged Palestinian territory after almost nine months of its continuation, as well as the strongest expression of opposition to Israeli war crimes so far.

The Saudis really are most two faced regime in the region, even more than Turkey and that's quite an achievement. They know their population is overwhelmingly pro-Palestine so they have to put on this show every once in a while but they have never stopped being Zionist collaborationists and they don't give two shits that their fellow Muslims and non-Muslim Arabs are being genocided in Gaza. Just like Turkey they will say one thing openly and continue to make deals with the entity behind the scenes.

Actions speak louder than words. I will believe them when they start to actually do something material to help the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.

That family is just a colonial administrator as are the Jordanian royalty and UAE royalty. They are all pets of America. The whole acceptance drive was just America trying to get all its bastard children to get along (no insult to dogs) via small geopolitical treats.

At least the Jordanian and UAE regimes don't even pretend. Everyone knows they are just Anglo-Zionist running dogs.

True. Very true. They proudly serve the same purpose as isntrael in the region: de-development, and better yet for the empire, unlike isntrael they pay for the destabilization out of their own pockets.

So China (and Hamas) effectively helped force their hand into considering multipolarity and the most they can say is some relatively tepid condemnation at this stage; how about they stop their own trade with the fascist state, use that oil for leverage and also send reparations to Yemen (pro tip: not the puppet government)?

Yet, at the same time, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi also stand to benefit immensely from the not-so-secret 1963 plan to build the Ben Gurion canal, from the Gulf of Aqaba to the Eastern Mediterranean, arriving – what a coincidence – very close to now devastated northern Gaza.

The canal would allow Israel to become a key energy transit hub, dislodging Egypt's Suez Canal, and that happens to dovetail nicely with Israel’s role as the de facto key node in the latest chapter of the War of Economic Corridors: the US-concocted India-MidEast Corridor (IMEC).

        We only want the earth.

“Be moderate,” the trimmers cry, Who dread the tyrants’ thunder.

“ You ask too much and people fly From you aghast in wonder.”

’Tis passing strange, for I declare Such statements give me mirth,

For our demands most moderate are, We only want the earth.

The question is when he said this, was it because blinken took a bathroom break from having his hand up his ass or he made his puppet say something remotely likeable because he thinks Saudi Arabia is the Pied Piper of all Muslims and they will accept whatever proposal the Saudis have.
