I've been looking for a new job for a while now. This covid shit has shown me that commuting to a physical place of work is a spook if the job you're working is a bullshit job. I have a bullshit job.
I've been applying for remote jobs for a few months and haven't had any luck. Keep getting the same rejection response of "we like your work but don't feel comfortable hiring you with no experience and/or no degree." Got tired of hearing this shit so I said fuck it, made up a bunch of fake shit, put a fake degree from some no name school on my resume and applied to more entry level jobs.
After a few interviews I got hired by some start up doing entry level work. The pay is a little more than I'm making now but it's fully remote which means I don't have to work at a goddamn grocery store anymore and can finally move out of this fucking place.
I can't fucking believe it.

My kid has been successfully going number 1 and 2 in the potty, and last night I had a dream where I took them to go potty and they are all happy and smiling and then the potty starts to overflow with poop; it starts to spread everywhere, and I am trying to stop it, and it reaches my feet. My kid is still happy and smiling just going number 2, but I'm insanely grossed out so then I start puking in the sink. So the kid is pooping nonstop, shit going everywhere, and I'm puking in the sink non-stop, and then I woke up.

I have dreams about dying pretty regularly, and my death is always a relief or something I'm excited about in the dream. Like I finally get to know what's beyond. I don't have any suicidal ideations so I have no idea why these dreams make me feel that way.
Had a dream that my mother and sister were fighting. I tried to mediate but they didn't listen to me. My mother tore off my sister's right ear and so she tore off my mother's left arm. This is a cool and fun metaphor for the fact that I'm leaving my family behind and I can't save my siblings or my mother as no one but me thinks that my father is abusive.
Wonder how many times I will have this kind of dream. Last time it was an ark that no one wanted to board but me - even as I carried my sister there she turned and ran for home at the last minute, because she didn't believe me about the coming floods.
My dad's also abusive - not physically, but emotionally (and not as bad as the traditional abusive dad, but just bad enough to always make everyone else's lives suck more). I've been trying to convince my mom to divorce him since I was like 14 because I feel it negatively impacted my growth as a person and it is also negatively impacting my severely mentally disabled brothers (they've talked about it but never follow through). At the same time I don't want to move out because that would leave them alone with him and holy shit do I need a lot of therapy once I'm able to afford it if I think like this about my own father
(Also COVID and my own disability putting me at risk means I can't get a job, so I don't exactly have a way to keep making income to pay for another place to live, even if I had a GoFundMe that worked (and I wouldn't set one up when there are millions of people more deserving). At this point it's just take as many online classes as possible while the price is slightly cheaper so my student debts aren't as big)
