          I want to see what China is able to create themselves

          I think they're doing a pretty decent job with that recently although the anime/western 3D influence is inevitable.

      There was a couple of days where I thought isekai had potential until I noticed 90% of them were just biographies of slave owners and tyrants that were once IT guys and VN obsessed otaku. There were a couple that seemed promising, but even if the MC isn't a slave owner, they exist in some slave powered world.

      After the Japanese economy crashed in the early 1990s, the fallout produced a "lost generation" of X-ennials with significantly fewer opportunities to enjoy the same living standards as their parents. Anime has gotten the way it is because there are so many unemployed and underemployed lumpen/NEET consumers with disposable income (often from employed parents). These people are absolutely not fucking before the work culture and gendered expectations change.

    Another Crunchyroll special? Who's producing it? I hear ATT has a big stake in Cruchyroll. With this in addition to Shield Hero, Goblin Slayer, Crunchyroll seems to be pouring it's own cash into some of the faschier stuff out there.
