If you think putting a dog into a crate is shitty then I hope you never take your dog to a vet; because what do you think they do during in between whatever you brought them there for and your pickup time? Come on; while I agree it is wrong and abusive to stick a dog in a crate that is too small for them to do a full 360° in, crate training as a whole is not abusive. It is not wrong to crate a fully grown dog for a few hours, provided you’re not doing it vindictively or as a punishment.
there's a fucking difference between putting in in for a practical purpose on occasion and putting your dog in a fucking confined space while you go about living your day to day life because you're incapable of training them to not tear your shit up.
Kenneling is a good way to train your dog. I really can’t tell how big it is, but there’s different sizes of dogs obviously all dogs shouldn’t go in there, but this idea is good. Too many people leave their dogs in the hot ass car when they go shopping. This is a million times better.
How can you tell how big it is? There’s no dog and nothing in the frame to compare the size.
Some dogs will tear up your house if you don’t kennel them while you’re away. And getting them comfortable inside the kennel makes it easier to train them.
Oh dear. Judging other people based on how their dog behaves.
Dogs have different personalities and mental conditions just like humans. Some are from shelters and may be accustomed to different behaviors and need time to be trained. Shaming them for training their dog is ridiculous.
Like I mentioned earlier all dogs shouldn’t go in there, but lots of people have smaller dogs. The tile and reader cc ain’t helping me to figure out size.
I don't know about you, but whenever I kenneled my dog, I always took it to a strange location with lots of unfamiliar dog smells, and completely sealed off from the outside.
Just like all the dog training books, which have a history of being very correct, tell you to do.
uh no, that's how it is. it works that way. punishing an animal and locking them in a tiny space because you don't know how to raise them means that you're the fuckin lib.
if you fuckin raise your dog right they're not trying to fucking get away from you and you don't have to fucking yank them around. and get a fucking harness
do you lack reading comprehension skills? a harness is a leash that isn't wrapped around a dog's neck. and even if a dog is leashed if they're trained right they're not trying to fucking run away from you.
well fucking obviously. you don't even have a fucking dog. a trained dog isn't going to start fucking running and pulling away from their fucking owner.
And if you take that dog to a trainer they’ll tell you to kennel it for training purposes and when you take that dog to the park it may get a little too excited or too shy around other dogs. Judging people based on how their dog acts is fucking dumb.
Jfc “It’s takes time and persistence to train a dog after fostering it.” “Judging people based on how their dog behaves is smart.” That’s called cognitive dissonance
why the fuck do people kennel their dogs?
this is a shitty response dude. that thing is a fucking tiny ass box.
Crate training is a real technique, it works, and the dogs don't give a shit once they get used to it.
boo. bullshit.
Read some books about dog training instead of spouting your ignorance. Dogs aren't humans. You err when you anthropomorphize them too much.

nah dude. that thing is fucking shitty. maybe a redesign where it's the size of a kennel.
but 'kenneling your dog when you leave the house' is not training a dog.
How can you tell how big it is? There’s no dog and nothing in the frame to compare the size.

look at the tile on the wall and the credit card slot, they're two and a half feet wide.
kenneling your dog when you're not home is pretty fucked up to me. if you can't train your dog not to tear your shit up, you just shouldn't have one.
Oh dear. Judging other people based on how their dog behaves.
Dogs have different personalities and mental conditions just like humans. Some are from shelters and may be accustomed to different behaviors and need time to be trained. Shaming them for training their dog is ridiculous.

shaming them for locking their dog in a tiny space all day when they leave is just fuckin fine dude.
Do you have a dog? Have you ever read or learned anything about training dogs? Taken a dog to a training class?
yes i have a dog. you train your dog by rewarding them when they're decent and telling them to submit when they're not. it's pretty fucking simple.
Lib ass shit right here. It worked for me this way, should work for everyone else.
I don't know about you, but whenever I kenneled my dog, I always took it to a strange location with lots of unfamiliar dog smells, and completely sealed off from the outside.

Ignorance is bliss. Please read a book.
please give your dog to someone who knows how to raise them.
I don’t have a dog lol
well then stop babbling on about shit you know nothing about
Literally you right now
my dog behaves and i never had to beat him or lock him in a fucking cage like a piece of shit would do
Me me me me me me me. Read a book. No one mentioned beating a dog
you're basically defending the idea of prison as a rehabilitation, and even worse defending it as a useful tool for those in command.
but you just keep reading your books.
My bad, dogs are humans. That’s why you put a collar around your child’s neck and yank at it when they get too far away.
if you fuckin raise your dog right they're not trying to fucking get away from you and you don't have to fucking yank them around. and get a fucking harness
Oh dope so when you go to the park you don’t leash your dog. Awesome
a harness is a fucking leash that isn't put around a dogs neck. and dog parks are specifically meant for you to not have to leash your dog.
So you don’t take your dog on walks outside of a dog park?
do you lack reading comprehension skills? a harness is a leash that isn't wrapped around a dog's neck. and even if a dog is leashed if they're trained right they're not trying to fucking run away from you.
When they see another dog they don’t get excited and try to run towards the dog and then you yank them back to be in control of the dog?
no, they're fucking trained. a trained dog doesn't do that.
Okay. Sure. Every dog I see walking at my park isn’t trained.
They mostly aren't. Most people who own dogs should not actually own dogs, they're really high-maintenance as pets go.
well fucking obviously. you don't even have a fucking dog. a trained dog isn't going to start fucking running and pulling away from their fucking owner.
“My dogs are perfect and never go against me. If your dog has any behavioral issues it’s obviously the owners fault!”
unironically this.
"the owners" includes previous owners.
And a bunch of people get dogs with previous owners.
dogs can be retrained. it's difficult, and a big process, and if you aren't up to the task you shouldn't get
aedit: that dog.it's just persistence.
And if you take that dog to a trainer they’ll tell you to kennel it for training purposes and when you take that dog to the park it may get a little too excited or too shy around other dogs. Judging people based on how their dog acts is fucking dumb.
wrong. judging people based on how their dog acts is a pretty smart way to judge a person actually.
Jfc “It’s takes time and persistence to train a dog after fostering it.” “Judging people based on how their dog behaves is smart.” That’s called cognitive dissonance
it's called you missing the fucking point.
Some people literally do that
This is really different than a crate that your dog has gotten used to and had made its private space.
I know the window with all the strangers walking about would really freak out my dogs.
You’d be better off leaving them in a crate at home. I don’t know why you need to bring your dogs with you to go shopping anyway.
