I have had a hobby of watching old newsreels from the interwar-1950's era. Any of you guys do the same? You can learn a lot about the world and various countries' cultures at the time from watching them. Like for instance, this one I linked is a reflection on how Black People started doing way better from the New Deal, and I remember seeing a Nazi one from operation Barbarossa that had really gross closeups of Soviet POWs to show how "degenerate and subhuman" the Slavs were and how Germany was gonna roll over those guys and be home by Christmas
