The plastic security boxes can be opened with a regular magnet. Same with the ink packs and stuff they put in clothes.
Also, keep an eye out for the tracking stickers. Usually hidden in the box. Take it to the bathroom or a place where it's quiet and look for one. Then use a pocket knife to stab the box where it is so it doesn't set off the alarm.
ok so i have two super powerful magnets that costed like $50 in my room. If you put it near any electronic too close, it will fry the components. So you can disrupt the towers or disable a security lock on one of them expensive things. Never tried it, but I found this info on some old shop lifting site.
