Just a reminder, intergen conflict is divide and conquer manipulation. Boomers didn't "pull up the ladder", the oligarchs stole the fucking ladder.

Except they turned the boomers into class warfare zombie bots who will fight tooth and nail for them, even vs their own kin, if we don’t also toe the line.

It’s not like explaining this to them will make them suddenly snap out of it. They’ve had too many treats and too much lead, they think public school is trying to genocide the world population with “gay shit”.

Class warfare certainly got us here and continues to be a driving force, but there’s a battle on more than one front.

Class war is the only war, it influences EVERY human interaction. Whenever people make dismissive generalizations about an entire generation of working people, they disrespect those who have fought for all of us. A lot of us boomers sacrificed freedom and more for the struggle. We may not have won much, but if we weren't fighting we would be even worse off now.

Older millennial fall for this shit too. I have so many fb friends from high school that still post this stuff.

The same stuff happens on Twitter - some guy on the platform scaremongers about Twitter banning artists for making fanart of copyrighted characters, and people start copying and pasting the same exact disclaimer even though I am sure many of them know it doesn't work that way. And I don't think it's just "boomers".
