just finished it and man, [parody]ing the heads of the literal illuminati has never felt more satisfying. yes i know the series has a problem with its portrayal of violence but cmon, taking out a gigantic piece of shit like the stuyvesant asshole in the first mission cannot feel bad to me. anybody else play through it it yet?
I've never played any of the Hitman games but now I vaguely want to. I did play Splinter Cell back in the day, which has a few similarities like stashing bodies so you don't get caught.
Should Hitman 3 be my first entry into the series?
oh yeah, the hitman games are all about murdering degenerate rich people who are twisted by their wealth. There's no bit where you are killing a communist. Its all killing disgusting mega wealthy people.
I think in Hitman 2 you have to kill some guys that are a part of a leftist terrorist group, though.
Don't you also murder a retired soviet agent or something?
He's called Janus for a reason, though.
Time has been kind because I don't remember that. Hitman 2 Silent Assassin or modern Hitman 2? Cause Hitman got cool around Contracts, Blood Money and then nothing happened before nu Hitman
I think they're talking about the fringe Sikhs in H2SA?
I can't remember much of what happened in Silent Assassin, you fought mafia and then at some point ninjas in a Japanese castle. The game found its groove in the later games
That was a cult and they were planning a terror attack if I'm not mistaken
They were gonna nuke the US I think which is the kind of thing that some people in this website would, rightly or wrongly, regard as a leftist thing.
modern hitman 2
Yeah because you can (for a price) get all the levels from 1 and 2 in 3.
If you want a taste of the series, the first level of H2 is free:

That's very good to know, so it'll definitely be 3 if I want to get into the series. Thanks!
