What a surprise that basically all the countries that had been former Soviet republics, whose population's material needs haven't really been met since the fall of the Soviet Union, have been ripe for reactionaries reaping.

Yes, you’re of course correct, I should’ve been more clearer with what I meant by Soviet republics because in my mind that implied the inclusion of the whole bloc not just those formally called SSRs, sorry.
