Theres this somewhat unfortunately named thought experiment called a Chinese room. The idea is to imagine someone writing in Chinese on a card, putting that card into little mail slot in a mystery room and some time later recieving an answer. Inside the room is just some guy that doesnt read or speak Chinese - but hes got this big book that if he looks up the characters he can find an answer that he copies and pushes out.

The person on the outside is having a conversation, but the guy inside isnt doing any understanding. He just looks up characters that look similar and copies what the book says to do, then serving it. Like a chatbot or a markov chain or even GPT2/3.

This person has become a Chinese room. Instead of reading, thinking critically, they have become so dependent on the system and so propogandized that conversational pathways have been bolted onto their brain that makes them write and think shit like "collective decision making over the surplus we make is slavery, oligarchic decision making over the surplus we make is true freedom." All without understanding what they're saying. Conversation without understanding.

"When people are able to gain an abundance of money they tend to be more charitable towards those less fortunate."

Yeah that's why people manage to accumulate billions of dollars - because they're so fucking considerate and charitable.

"Forcing people to do anything against their will for any reason is slavery."

But this for some reason doesn't include forcing people to remain in poverty by trapping them in debt, or forcing them to die young by denying them adequate healthcare, and so on and so on. Where does this contempt for the poor come from? I don't understand how you can so swiftly and nonchalantly cast struggling people aside.

From "if you are capable of toiling in misery you should toil in misery" to "this is slavery" in record time.

Thanks to capitalism charities exist. Lol

Having an affirmative right to not live in poverty = slavery.

so charities are good because they help people but we shouldn't help people because that would be slavery? wtf?

"Giving money to poor people means taking by force money from rich people and is therefore theft."

This realizes that money is zero sum and yet at the same time :: "poor people are poor because of poor choices, its cool and good for some people to accumulate lots of money."

Arguing with ancaps is a waste of time. It's a tiny minority who's arguments no one treats seriously.
