    Kings. This is gonna sound idpol, but Bolivia and Venezuela both have up and coming Women leaders. I’m sure Cuba does too. I want to see the resurgence of this kind of leadership be women.

      No. The prohibition on pork is specifically for the Jewish people, like circumcision. Supposedly. Mostly us Christians have only obeyed the Mosaic laws that allow us to hurt someone else in some way. We're Normal and Cool like that.

      I think Paul got sign off on this but I'm still weirded out by this guy who the apostles think is clearly a grifter being the foundation of the western church.

      AFAIK Jesus abolished all these religious rules from judaism. Early Christians, coming from a culturally Jewish background, kept following the dietary restrictions for cultural reasons. When Christianity spread to other cultures, especially to the pork-loving Romans, the Jewish cultural taboo against pork didn't spread with it.
