Had to fix my MIL's laptop this week. All I did was clone the hdd to an SSD, disabled all the bloat on startup and took a spare ac adapter from work. I think I said "I fixed the file system, ran a virus scan and optimized the configuration." Somehow using TV tech lingo works better than saying what you actually did.
