I think there’s widespread religious and ethnic profiling and detainment occurring in order for the government to have a slave labor work force to support economic growth. America does the same thing with minorities here, although here it’s justified as routine policing while there they’ve lifted the post 9/11 american narrative of combating extremism. I think it should stop.
I would say any form of forcible detainment based on religious profiling is wrong, especially if the justification offered is because you’ve already decided they are going to commit crimes in the future.
