Talk shit get hit 😤 Cincy nasty baby, what you lookin for? Big empty malls? We gottem. Cheap rents? We gottem. Shitty sausage? You know it. Art deco? Spades, hun, in spades. Hills? We got 7. We got the good art museums, we got the good theme park, we got the public murals, we got the abandoned subway, good zoo, we got everything except good public transit. We used to have that, and hopefully we can again someday. I don't even care that I'm destroying my anonymity with this post. Worth it.

      Abandoned subway

You mean, you had a metro and you abandoned it?

It's a property value raising scam, like most Obama money initiated public transit

It was never finished because of world war two. You got a problem with it, take it up with the palace of the soviets.

I like this. Reminds of that bit about getting killed if you run for president.

Just fucking realized it’s named Cincinnati because of the god damn hills isn’t it.

No, that would be cool and kind of poetic. It's named after Cincinnatus bc the people who founded the city were all revolutionary soldiers in the society of Cincinnatus which was like a Washington fan club plus vfw. After the revolution we'll rename it to New Rome, or Sparticacia, or Gracchia maybe.

Austin used to be weird. But then Californians and others started moving in. They escaped the crappy conditions of where they lived...and then immediately complained Austin wasn't like where they were from. Then they started making changes. Today Austin looks a lot like where they came from. Now they don't like it and say Austin isn't weird any more. In other contexts this would be called colonization.

        But why fucking Austin man?

What's gonna happen when they invade Utah? Imagine the number of cults that will be created in such clash, half of them homicidal I'm :100-com: sure

Cincy is weird as fuck. Someone went “what if we combined a southerner with a Midwesterner and see what happens”

They can’t handle snow. Like what kind of place in Ohio can’t handle snow?

I don’t think there’s an accent I’ve heard more grating than Cincy and I lived to Scranton.

Cinci accent is basically the Galatian or the Catalonian of America. IE: it combines a bunch of different dialects and expressions from various areas that make sense in isolation. But put them together and your brain just CAN NOT COMPUTE

Any midsize city in a trash state is gonna have way more quirks than the larger ones,, Tallahassee is the wackiest place I lived in a similar way
