It's named after Cincinnatus bc the people who founded the city were all revolutionary soldiers in the society of Cincinnatus which was like a Washington fan club plus vfw. They escaped the crappy conditions of where they lived...and then immediately complained Austin wasn't like where they were from. Then they started making changes. Cinci accent is basically the Galatian or the Catalonian of America. IE: it combines a bunch of different dialects and expressions from various areas that make sense in isolation. But put them together and your brain just CAN NOT COMPUTE
