      Malls were supposed to be walkable spaces, when they were originally conceived.

      It's practically comic that you need to surround them with giant parking lots in order to get people to show up.

    This is like a bit outside my area, except they’re all closed.

    I just realized as I pulled off the road, I’M IN A STRIP MALL RIGHT NOW! AND THEY INVENTED A NEIGHBORHOOD WITH A SERIES OF APARTMENT BUILDING AND SMALL SPACES AND IT’S STILL NOT THAT SAFELY WALKABLE :agony:

    living in a US suburb is actually good for privacy because you can post photos of them and be pretty sure there aren't any identifiable landmarks
