As one example, I read or heard somewhere that some kind of poll from the 2018 midterms indicated that Beto had much more support of native Texans whereas Cruz had more recent transplants. The GOP has spent the last 10-15 years advertising Texas as an anti-tax, pro-money-making place to be and that has had an effect on who decided to come here.
I wish there was a mass exodus from California and New York City (upstate can stay) so every state in the country would be poz'd.
