"I wanted my kids to know me," Jobs told Isaacson. "I wasn't always there for them, and I wanted them to know why and to understand what I did."

Bro chose his legacy over his kids and spent his last days cloying for validation of that decision rip-bozo

Acting like he's some fuckin' migrant worker forced to leave his family to get them what they need to survive smh

it's not stupid if it works

Clearly Steve Jobs' diet cure didn't work.

Also contributing to long and exhaustive legacy of billionaire cults of personality sure "work" in a way that's to the detriment of everyone who has to live under a worsening state of privatization, private surveillance, and a planet being burned down and choked with e-waste because indoctrinated members of the aforementioned cults of personality simply must have a new phone every year that is slightly thinner.

the latter is the only thing that matters is is the reason why this asshattery will persist long after either of us are in our respective graves

I think Steve Jobs' cult of personality "worked" in a stupid way to society and the planet's detriment that still has so many people expecting billionaire genius saviors to fix the problems that they are actually perpetuating.

i believe it's that plus people who strive for "fuck 'em all money" never realizing that's what steinbeck meant by his temporarily embarrassed millionaires quote.
