Trump will be called to testify and will be allowed to talk about he really won the election and that Biden is an illegitimate president. He testimony will end with him calling for another march on the capital. A few months later democrats will create another committee to investigate the 6/9 insurrection and will give republicans a majority as a show of bipartisanship.

It was also not the first time the Capitol was attacked (not sure if that's the correct thing to call that day). Some very cool Puerto Rican nationalists shot a bunch of congresspeople in it in 1954. Can't tell kids about that though because then they might wonder why the brown people didn't like America.

I didn't understand what "1/6 Commission" meant until I read this comment. They were hammering home the date as hard as they could during the hearings at the start of the year, but I still can't remember the date consistently.
