Yeah, I agree with the comments here that it's more lib than I'd like, but I don't discount it outright. Media that's not slathered with a generous layer of China Bad is always nice. I like Sixth Tone, which is sponsored by the Chinese government but I believe is not state media outright, whatever that's worth. It's got a lot of good factual reporting on actual what's-poppin-in-China-rn news, with some articles being prescriptive and some just reporting on events or social phenomena. I recommend.
