You know, I'm pretty sure I could have gotten you into your old account. Just sayin'

Sorry about your phone. I have done the same thing. It was over 20 years ago with a Nokia 8210. Such a sad end to an awesome phone.

Today I went to Bunnings to buy something and I asked the cashier lady how she was.

She was genuinely surprised that I asked and told me barely anyone ever asks how she is.

That made me very sad to hear that, I also wished her a good day too for good measure but to that was how people engage with her at her job makes me sad.

Also I ran after an empty shopping bag that blew out of someone trolley as they were crossing the a road strip with waiting traffic.

Good deeds done for the day.

Just got a call from my cousin who I'd be spending xmas with, xmas is now significantly scaled down as most of her in laws have made other plans - secretly super relieved it's gone from a 11-person thing to 5, and they're all people I know. Far out I feel like a weight has lifted...

As I've gotten older I've learned to appreciate dark chocolate a lot more although I still have my limits. Anything over 70% is still a bit too bitter for me. I'm currently enjoying this Aldi Organic Dark Salted chocolate. https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/pantry/chocolate/chocolate-detail/ps/p/just-organic-dark-chocolate-with-sea-salt-100g/

I'm so middle age that you know that feeling after you do "the deed" on a hot summers night and you've got that warm physical exhaustion but your feeling pretty stoked that it was a job well done? Yeah, I just got that feeling from mowing the lawn on my lunch break.

Comfort him a lot. Being comforted reduces anxiety and pain. It will also help him sleep.

And pain meds too of course.

I cannot stress enough, babies and little children can't get too many cuddles

Miss Meow is being very restless this afternoon, which I think means a storm could be on the way. Or maybe she just wants dinner early, it's hard to tell.

Dialling back my insane sleep schedule starting tonight. No more going to bed at 5am... Starting at 2am and working backwards to 9pm.

Also, have been going out the last 3 weeks with friends on the weekend. I'm emboldened to go out by myself this Saturday. I wonder how it'll go. Worth a shot anyway. Like my mate says "nothing ventured, nothing gained".

I would absolutely go to bed at 5am if life wouldn't bash me up 2 hours later. I'm naturally nocturnal.

I don't go to bed because I'm tired now, I go to bed because I know how tired I will be when I have to get up in the morning.

I have now served the two month waiting period for my new Health Insurance fund, with still no sign of the Clearance Certificate from my old health fund - which they are legally required to provide within two weeks.

I decided in honour of the occasion to send a letter to a few MPs, given that the whole fund seems to be having a meltdown and be unable to actually provide all of its members with the cover they are paying for. The government partially funds and props up the whole system they really should at least try to make sure that the funds are fulfiling their obligations.
