Amazon systematically attempts to channel 6% of its office employees out of the company each year, a target Amazon calls "unregretted attrition." Critics say the system resembles the controversial "stack ranking" practice many companies have abandoned.

Across the board Amazon is a terrible company to work for. Also note that warehouse workers had an annual turnover rate of 150% (!!!). At some point Amazon is just going to run out of people to burn through.
