It seems their is a lot of potential for the complete implosion of the healthcare system in the U.S. and the exploitation of nurses and other healthcare workers is a big part of this. Anyone have first hand experience? This seems like a very significant struggle to try and organize within. It very much seems like labor as a force in America is coming close to a breaking point. Unfortunately it’s so disorganized that it will hardly do anything but there are a few professions that could really take the lead here and nurses and healthcare workers seem like a big one to me.

What do we think? Very curious to hear thoughts from anyone in the field. I’m just attaching the October 15th strike link because I hope something comes of it.
