        Yup, that's what I think too. This is way too fucked to not be intentional at this point. If it really isn't, America is a lot further along in its decline than I thought.

            How will the Taliban hold power if they immediately start invading China. I don't see the benefit if they're trying to advance their own interests. China offered investment and infrastructure deals with them.

            The Taliban took most of the country because they won popular support over the American puppet govt, kicking out the USA and ending US violence. They're going to lose the support (and land) they gained if they throw people at the Chinese border and nullify whatever clean water deals they've made with the CPC.

              Oh I agree 100%, but decisions hurting the interests of those who make them doesn't stop them from being made. If the Taliban were acting in their own interests they would just take the trade, and they've made some statements that make it appear as though they are going to do just that, but you can never be sure.

          Possibly, though the standard fighter pilot in this kind of country is "Rich failson of government minister" and I feel the Taliban aren't going to be super nice to them.
