No need to pirate Photoshop if GIMP (FOSS) can do it for you and you can use this to make GIMP look like Photoshop

    I know people dont like gimp but I've been using it for ages now and, honestly, it was such a chore to learn and get comfortable with that I'm completely turned off from the thought of learning a different FOSS alternative.

      I think a company could contribute to GIMP/Krita (like what Suse or Red Hat IBM do with Linux already) and offer training or support. I could see some companies co-ops switching to Linux fully if they were able to have a support/training infrastructure in place.

      There are ways to get GIMP to look like PhotoShop already, like PhotoGIMP. I think that should be a separate project to prevent lawsuits, though.

      god, it’s taken me years to find my way around photoshop, and now that I’ve found my footing with it I don’t want to feel like a fucking moron giving gimp a second shot.
