I mean we're leaving out huge chunks of history like the literal meat grinder war that had millions of russians dying from guns, gas, and starvation, or the fact that the chuds of their day - Tsar loving peasants and priests - walked up to the winter palace asking their beloved ruler to fight for their labor rights then getting roflstomped by the imperial guards.

Or the fact that communists for the past few decades were literally among the people teaching them the basics of class struggle to the point that even gnarly old peasants could talk about how their labor was being stolen by their landlords
