I don't think so. Biden lost Florida by about 370k votes and 70k people have died in Florida from Covid, although I guess the hospitals being full means that patients suffering from other diseases are more likely to die as well.
The highest rising death tolls this summer were all in deeply red states (other than Florida which is purplish) so they will remain firmly Republican regardless of how many corpses are stacked.
