I got the VR game "Vermillion" a few days ago on a whim. Up until that point, all my VR time was essentially spent shooting or stabbing things, so it never dawned on me to try to paint in VR. Well, painting in VR is the most relaxing and fun thing to do in VR. I feel like I've typed VR too many times. VR VR VR VR VR

It even inspired me to dust off my tablet and try drawing again.

This is amazing! How long did it take you to make? Is the VR painting easy to get used to?

It took me around an hour and a half to paint it. I would say that painting on a easel and mixing paints in vr is the most natural way to paint outside of actual painting I've tried so far. It has it's limitations, but the potential is there to be one of the best implementations of VR yet.

Neat, thank you! It's less expensive than real world paints in the long run.

Honestly yeah, if you already have the headset, it's way cheaper than paint. I can't imagine what the actual cost for entry is for oil painting. Brushes, paint, canvas, easel all add up. You could start small and scale up as you expand the hobby, but still.
